# Glossary and Reference

Key terms for understanding the auctions, titles, and coverage.

## Title types

| Title | What it means | Importable? |

| **Clean** | Clean title, no major reported damage | Yes (check your country's requirements) |
| **Salvage** | Vehicle declared a total loss by the insurer | Sometimes (depends on the destination) |
| **Rebuilt** | Salvage repaired and inspected, re-titled | Often yes (after rebuilding) |
| **Non-Repairable** | Cannot be put back on the road | Usually not |
| **Junk / Certificate of Destruction** | For scrap/parts | No |
| **Parts Only / Bill of Sale Only** | Parts only / no full ownership title | Avoid except in specific cases |
| **Flood** | Flood damage | Risky; check acceptance |
| **Fire** | Fire damage | Risky; check acceptance |

> Eligibility **depends on the destination country**. Before bidding, confirm with your customs broker whether the title and condition are accepted. Non-repairable, junk, certificate of destruction, parts-only titles, or flood/fire brands are usually not accepted.

## Common terms

- **VIN**: vehicle identification number (17 characters).
- **Lot (Lot #)**: the number identifying the vehicle within the auction.
- **Buyer fee / auction fees**: commissions charged by Copart/IAAI on the hammer price.
- **Reserve price**: the seller's minimum price (visible with CampoBrokerBot Premium).
- **Buy It Now**: an option to purchase immediately at a fixed price.
- **Pre-Alert**: payment reconciliation after winning a vehicle (see [Payment and Reconciliation](#pago-conciliacion)).
- **Central Dispatch**: the platform where transport/towing requests are posted.
- **Pickup PIN / Gate Pass**: a code or authorization to remove the vehicle from the yard.
- **Window Sticker**: the factory label showing equipment and origin (see [Vehicle History Reports](#carfax)).
- **DGA / DGII**: customs and registration/plate authorities in the Dominican Republic (see [Calculators](#calculadoras)).
- **NIP**: your personal identifier at Campo Brokers (format `CAM…`).

## Geographic coverage

- **Users:** a range of countries, including Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
- **Warehouses and export:** routes focused on **Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe**. Other destinations are confirmed case by case.
